A Day at the Museum

A year ago I accidentally landed myself at The Smithsonian where I first encountered the Nature's Best Photography exhibit.
It was a cold, snowy day and our outside activities forced us inside for a bit. It was a blessing! We had limited time and due to the inclement weather, many were browsing through. So we hurried through and I grabbed some of the books at the gift store to look more closely at later. I vowed I would return with more time to study these brilliant works of art.
I was ecstatic when I heard this same exhibit was coming to The Roberson Museum. I anxiously awaited my day to make it, and when I did I was not let down! I dragged my husband and took my time reading every bit of info and watching the short movie playing.
If you are a photography enthusiast, a nature lover or enjoying browsing museums you should check this exhibit out! Kudos to the Roberson for bringing this caliber of work to our community!
While we were there we also toured the model trains and the Roberson house itself. It was a great day out (again a cold and rainy one, but this one planned) to see some wonderful photography.
Below are some cell phone pictures from the day.
