Brrrrisk

Image
I quite enjoy fall (not so much what comes after) so this morning I decided Austin and I would go for a walk. The air was crisp and the aroma of our wood stove floated about. The leaves crunched under our feet. The bright colors of weeks past were coated in white frost. Thermometer pointing out it's a brisk 23 degrees on this October morning. Frost glistened on the leaves and fog rolled from the lake. It was a beautiful, brisk morning walk!

Beautiful Blessings

Image
The past few days I have been out embracing the fall colors and trying to capture some of the beauty that surrounds me. I truly am blessed to be able to take and share my photographs with others. I hope others can find the time to see the beautiful blessings that make up our landscapes. If you observe something long enough, true beauty unwraps itself in front of you. When I am out photographing everything else fades away except what's in my frame.... that totally captures me, takes a hold of me and warms my inner being. I find such happiness in photography. While driving to work I snapped these photographs with my cell phone. The fog was draping itself around the fall colors. I was inspired to catch some fall color for my collection of greeting cards. You can find that Fall Collection at my Etsy Shop

Embracing Fall

Image
I tend to hold on to the last rays of summer with all that I can! Today, however I could not help but embrace the beautiful colors that make up the fall landscape. Since no words can express the beauty, I will leave you with some images I shot today on two separate photo walks. Early this morning I loaded up my camera gear, my dog Austin and my mom and we walked to a lake. Later in the after noon I went solo to the Warren Center walking trail.  Be watching for all of these images on my Etsy Shop
