My mom is a talented gardener... me on the other hand, I have a brown thumb! So luckily for me (and my camera) my mom's landscaping makes for great photos! Today I was out capturing the beauty of  bleeding hearts . I also snapped a shot of a Columbine. Among the flowers I also snagged a photo of a garden snake . I am actually quite surprised I took that photo as I am NOT a snake fan. I had my Pentax 50mm lens which forced me to get closer than I would have liked to grab the shot.
