Discovering the Finger Lakes
Recently I ventured to the Finger Lakes Area with friends to have some outdoor fun! The area wineries have gorgeous views as well as award winning wines to sample. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there is certainly an activity to suit your needs and wants. Hiking, biking, camping or kayaking are just some of the fun and entertainment available. Out on Seneca Lake I recently took a kayak out on Seneca Lake with a friend. The overcast day didn't put a damper on our fun... in fact, since the kayaks were not in high demand that day we got a great deal on three hours of fun. Thanks to Glen Harbor Marina. We left the inlet at a relaxing pace, enjoying the scenery and watching the ducks pop up and down in the water. We paddled up the lake edge to get a closer view of some interesting outcroppings. After viewing the rock ledges we decided to paddle straight across the lake to the Tiki Bar. We rounded out the day with some delicious cuisine from one of my f
